Global WARMing??

With this winter being the coldest winter of the decade, it would be appropriate for Al Gore to formally announce that global warming is a myth.
The earth has always had heating and cooling patterns, but there is no evidence to assert that global warming or climate change is even true. In fact, over 4,000 scientists believe there is no such thing as global warming. 83 percent of climatologists questioned in the Gallup poll of North America have shunned the idea of global warming. This winter, every place from Hawaii to Florida has been experiencing cooler then normal temperatures. And to top it off, last winter's global warming conference, hosted in Washington DC, was postponed because of snow storms. Ironic, right?
While I'm watching the snow pour outside, it would be most logical to stop fretting about climate change because, as I stated earlier, there is no such thing as global warming.

I've just recently discovered tofu and made a mouthwatering dish called Peanut-Crusted Tofu Triangles. Very delicious but very spicy.

The older I get the more of a health freak I'm turning into... I've given up ice cream (for now, at least) and I've turned to organic rice ice cream. Since I've always hated the taste of milk, I stick to organic soy milk. I don't miss a morning without my whole grain cheerios with soy milk!

The Zero Factor

The Zero Factor is also known as Tecumseh's Curse. You might have learned about it in history class, but just in case you didn't, here's the background:
Tecumseh was the leader of the last big Indian uprising. Basically, he tried to unite all the Indian tribes as one confederation with himself as the leader. In the end Tecumseh failed, but he placed a "curse" that every President who was elected in a year ending in
zero would die in office.
I don't really believe in curse, but I do find the following information interesting.

184
0: William Harrison - died of pneumonia
186
0: Abraham Lincoln - assassinated
188
0: James Garfield - assassinated
190
0: William McKinley - assassinated
192
0: Warren Harding - died of a stroke in 1923
194
0: Franklin Roosevelt - died of cerebral hemorrhage
196
0: John F. Kennedy - assassinated
198
0: Ronald Reagan- shot but not killed

Weird, eh?
